The Journey of the RCSI School of Dentistry so far...
Click on the images below to find out more on how the journey of the RCSI School of Dentistry has evolved over the past year:

"RCSI’s Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) was launched in September 2025. This five year full-time programme offers integrated clinical skills training from the start of the course and is Ireland’s first community-based undergraduate dentistry programme. This approach reflects a major contemporary international trend in dentistry and other healthcare professions with clinical training shifting from traditional hospitals to community settings."
Professor Albert Leung, Head of School of Dentistry, RCSI
